Ms. Annie Laurie Bishop, retired organist for Ehrhardt Memorial Lutheran Church, and a resident of Harter Nursing Home of Fairfax, SC, was honored with a 95th Birthday Celebration by friends and family in 2007.  I myself, (Marty)  attended her Birthday Bash, (I helped serve), and it was a true honor to be there among family and friends last year.  Her younger sister, Hannah, played music on the piano, and Annie Laurie's favorite song was played & sung  along with "You Are My Sunshine' and many other old time songs and hymns.

Pastor Tim  Bryson, of Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church,  Ehrhardt, SC, asked the blessing, as friends and family partook of mints, nuts, sandwiches, and cake and ice cream, and lemonade. Many church members were in attendance, along with friends and family.  Her son, Olin Bishop, and lovely wife Dottie, hosted the Birthday event.  Hannah Clayton Beard, sister of Ms. Annie Laurie, played church hymns and Ms. Annie Laurie's favorite song, "Let me call you sweetheart". Songs such as "You Are My Sunshine" were played and sung as friends and church choir members gathered around the piano, as in old time days.
